We hope that it is not too late to send Christmas greetings to one and all and a Happy New Year from Gabe Nameth, Branch Manager and from the 1982 Branch 28 Officers: Mike Tomcsak, President; John Bunchy, Vice President; John Kaluczky, Secretary-Treasurer/Reporter; Helen Kaluczky and Leslie Wash, Auditors. We would also like to strongly urge our branch members to come and join us at the branch meetings which are held on the 2nd Monday (new day) of each month at 7:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Hungary Church Hall on Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, Ohio. Let us gather strength from each other in these troubled times. Our Branch Manager, Gabe Nameth, will be glad to help you on any insurance matters. His residence phone number is 792-8145. As an added assistance in insurance and financial counseling, a new office has been opened in Pittsburgh. Please refer to page 10, Fall 1981 of the William Penn Life (the official publication of the William Penn Association). As stated therein, “Should any of you, within a 100 mile radius of Pittsburgh need or desire insurance or financial counseling, call Ron Abels or one of his associates at (412) 461-0460. Lounge, Niles, Ohio on October 25, 1981. As William Penn, Br. 28 representative, it was a good opportunity to meet and fraternalize with fellow Hungarians and to meet Kornél Feher, the President of the Community Aircraft Company, who was the Hungarian speaker on the program. Our new Branch President, Mike Tomcsak, was master of ceremonies and he did an excellent job of it. Our Annual Children’s Christmas Party was held on December 19th at Our Lady of Hungary Hall. We were entertained by 5 players from the Youngstown Playhouse who put on two short skits. It was quite refreshing and enjoyable. Our thanks and appreciation to them and to Santa Claus/Branch President Mike Tomcsak, to my wife, Helen, and to Leslie Wash who all helped make the party a success. And last but not least, an especially big thanks to the Home Office for providing the financial assistance. Thank you, too, to the Schauers, the Szekelys, and the Ruzs for coming out in that bitter cold weather to spend a few hours with us to celebrate Christmas. We enjoyed their company and the carol singing. Love ya! Congratulations to Gus Nagy on his appointment as National Secretary- Treasurer. Bowling Tournament’s loss, but the association’s gain as National Secretary-T reasurer. Again, wishing everyone a Happy New Year! See you on tire 2nd Monday of each month!
