I am happy to announce that my “Music of Hungary” radio program is now presented Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on WQRP 88.1 on the FM dial. Soon we will be increasing the power of our community supported station to 5,000 watts. At that time our signal should reach listeners in Northern Kentucky, South Eastern Indiana, and all of the South Western region of Ohio. I am also hap­py to have been appointed to the Board of Trustees of Radio Station WQRP­­FM and WCXL-FM. Incidently, I am now entering my 32nd year broad­casting “Music of Hungary” on Dayton radio stations and eagerly look forward to many more years in this capacity. Our monthly Branch meetings are held the third Monday of the month at St. Stephen’s Hall, located at 1114 Troy Street beginning at 7:00 p.m. We welcome all our members to our meetings. Balia, presenting a $300.00 Scholarship Check to Douglas Kupas, a member of Branch 296, Springdale, Pa. Cheswick, Pa. on August 7, 1982 at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Falls Church, Virginia. Both are graduates of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and are new members of Branch 296. Best wishes to Cathy and Mark in their new life together. Branch 590 Cape Coral, Florida Our September 12th meeting was held at Branch Manager Anthony G. Noel’s home, 5 P.M. in the afternoon. We repeatedly urge members of this branch to come to our meetings. All are welcome. Minutes of our April 25th and June 13th picnic-meeting were read by secretary, Rose Darab and accepted as read. Treasurer’s report was read by Betty Bartus and approved as reported. Our next regular meeting will be held on November 14th, 1982. All members of good standing will be invited to our annual Christmas party, to be held December 15, 1982 at the Edelweiss hall of the German- American Social Club of Cape Coral, FI. The lawyers’ group reports that al­though 27 percent of Americans do write one, most young adults don’t believe they are necessary. In fact, says the Association, only one percent of persons 34-years-old and under have made out a will and most probably won’t until they’re about 50 — the average age people de­cide it is time to think about a will. For those who have a will, this ad­vice; Review it every couple of years, especially if a major change occurs that affects any of its provisions. 14
