We were at these same lanes five years earlier, a unique set-up in that there are 36 lanes on each side separated in the middle by scenery area. The women bowled on one side and the men on the other. Because President Charles could not bowl the first ball on both sides at the same time, he requested the two National Vice Presidents, John P. Balia and Louis L. Varga to throw the first ball. This was preceeded by greetings from Mr. Charles and Gus G. Nagy, Vice President, Tournament Administrator. Our able photographer, Lou Fodor, member of the National Auditing Committee, succeeded in taking pictures of all the teams. We highlight pictures of the Bowlers, because it is their dedication to the Association's Bowling Program that makes these annual events successful.
