THE WILLIAM PENN ASSOCIATION WELCOMES THE AMERICAN-HUNGARIAN CATHOLIC SOCIETY Of Cleveland, Ohio TO ITS FRATERNAL FAMILY A historical event took place in Cleveland, Ohio on December 1 3, 1981 when the delegates of the American-Hungarian Catholic Society voted to merge with the William Penn Association. The Insurance Department of Ohio approved the merger on January 2, 1981 and the Insurance Department of Pennsylvania on January 6, 1981. Knowing that they could have joined any one of the many Catholic societies, we are delighted that they chose the William Penn Association to help preserve the Hungarian roots, traditions, culture and heritage. As Hungarians, we all belong together, for in Unity, there is Strength. A combined Hungarian effort in behalf of our people will move mountains and accomplish tasks that were dreams when we were separated. As National President of the William Penn Association and on behalf of my fellow Officers and Board of Directors, I wish to welcome you and pledge to you the continued preservation of the ideals that your society fostered and supported as Hungarians. Elmer Charles, National President
