All from ovr branch who attended had a very enjoyable time. At our regular monthly meeting on June 17, a motion was made and seconded to cancel the meetings for July and August due to summer vacations. Also, at that meeting, we established committees to start plans for the upcoming Scholarship Dinner- Dance to be held in the fall. Michaelene Mirkovich Reporter Branch 28 Youngstown, Ohio Our Annual Bowling Tournament was a success in Dayton, Ohio. We want to thank Peggy and Steve Sándor for working so hard to organize a bowling team again this time. All who attended had a good time. We are notifying members that the branch has Raffle Books for a Bushel of Whiskey or a gallon of whiskey, or if you prefer, the money. All proceeds will go to help pay our share for the Ohio Cabin which will be built in the near future on the Penn Scenic View grounds. These grounds are for the enjoyment of all branch members. Please help do your share and buy a $5.00 book. We would like to hear from all of our members. If enough members would attend meetings, we could make plans to hold doings that could be enjoyed by all. Our next meeting will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of September at 7:30 P.M. at Calvin Center. Please try to attend. I will be spending the month of July with my sister Margaret and Steve Simon in Las Vegas. Hope you all had a nice summer. Your Reporter.
