Delegates from Ohio 19) Mr. Charles next introduced the Honorable Richard S. Caliguiri, Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh. Mayor Caliguiri welcomed each delegate to the City of Pittsburgh. He stated that his grandmother was from Hungary, so he too has Hungarian blood in his veins. He remembers spending many hours with his grand­mother talking to one another and he has had close ties with the Hungarian community. He is very proud to have the William Penn Association domi­ciled in Pittsburgh. He stated he has great ethnic pride in the people of Pittsburgh. The city is progressing tremendously in its development and he is happy that William Penn Associa­tion has a part in its development. Peo­ple are the best renaissance Pittsburgh could have. He would like to see more people come into the city especially the ethnic group and the Hungarians. He stated we must have confidence in peo­ple, organizations and its leaders. He hoped everyone will enjoy their stay in Pittsburgh and continue to come back and visit the city. President Charles thanked Mayor Caliguiri for his remarks. 20) The Chairman next introduced Mr. Robert E. Bruce, Actuary. 21) President Charles introduced Vice President Louis L. Varga for his remarks. Vice President Varga ex­tended greetings to the delegates. He stated we should revive the Hungarian spirit and we should turn our attention to our Hungarian communities and its people. It has been a very exciting four years. We have accomplished very much. Complete reports have been submitted to each delegate and the ac­complishments of the past four years are outlined. He was happy to present Valerie Kocsis Woodworth, the daughter of Mr. Albert V. Kocsis, former National President of the Rákóczi Aid Association, who was unable to attend due to illness. He thanked the delegates for listening to his remarks. 22) Mr. Charles next introduced Vice President John P. Balia. Mr. Balia welcomed each and everyone to this convention. He stated that the present administration has a very good track record as the reports indicate, and he hoped this will continue in the future. 23) The Memorial Service was con­ducted by Rev. Nicholas Novak, Pastor, First Hungarian Reformed Church, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Following the memorial service, Na­tional Secretary Albert J.
