He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Zombory Beky; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Parker of Virginia, and Mrs. Gloria Lynch of Virginia; one sister, Mrs. Maria Endreracz in Hungary; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Bishop Beky came to the United States from Hungary in 1926, and in 1958 was elected the first Bishop of the Hungarian Reformed Church in this country. He also served as President of the Hungarian Reformed Federation and the American Hungarian Federation. Additionally, Bishop Beky was appointed to the Presidential Advisory Board of the Small Business Administration and was an advisory member of the 1971 White House Conference on Aging. For many years Bishop Beky participated in Republican Heritage Groups activities and was a highly respected figure by all those who knew him. Bishop Beky was also a member of William Penn Association. The American Magyar Social Club of Cape Coral had its annual Grape Festival (Szüreti Bal) in November. It was a huge success. Eulogy at the December Board meeting. / want to pay tribute this morning to a fraternal friend, loving father, proud grandfather, great and faithful Hungarian, profound believer: the former President of our sister society, the Hungarian Reformed f ederation and President of the American Hungarian federation. H e want to share the loss with the Beky family, f aith and wisdom, however, counsels us not to look upon the loss, hut rather appreciate his contribution to mankind, to our fraternal system, to the church, nation and our association, of which he was a member. H e can this morning find consolation, peace and understanding from the words "Job": “The Lord gave, the Lord hath taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord". The personal friendship that we shared shall always be cherished by me. At this moment of farewell, he echoes the words of apostle Paul: "I have done my best in the race. / have run the full distance. / have kept the faith, and now the price of victory is waiting főimé, the crown of righteousness".
