Scholarship Foundation Vice President and Mrs. Louis L. Varga have donated $5,000 to the Scholarship Fund as a preliminary to establishing a Louis L. Varga Scholarship grant. It is their intention to contribute sufficient funds in the ensuing years, so that from the interest earnings of their donations, two $500.00 scholarship grants will be awarded to deserving William Penn students. After more than thirty years of dedicated service to the Association, Mr. Varga is establishing a legacy for the Scholarship Foundation which other William Penn members can emulate. This living memorial, established by Vice President Varga, is a true expression of fratemalism in action. On behalf of the Scholarship Foundation Officers we publicly acknowledge this magnificent gift to the Scholarship Foundation. During the year 1976 Mr. Michael Hraber, Member of the National Auditing Committee purchased “HUNGARIAN POWER’’ buttons which he then donated to the Scholarship Foundation for sale. The total cash received by the Foundation as a result of the sale of these buttons amounted to $237.00. Our sincere thanks to Mike and Ann Hrabar for their extra donation. We again owe a debt of gratitude to the Branches of Western Pennsylvania, Branch 34, 71, 89, 226 and 296 for the Scholarship Dinner-Dance which they sponsored, the net contribution from the affair was $936.78. Also Branch 22, Roebling, N.J. each Fall sponsors a Scholarship Dinner-Dance; this year’s proceeds amounted to $175.00. Donations through the premium billing system has also aided immensely in increasing our assets. Total contributions by this method amounted to $3,801.87 in 1976. To all who helped create this extra income, thank you. DONATIONS 1976 OCTOBER - NOVEMBER - DECEMBER Branch 16, Perth Amboy. N.J. $25.00 Mrs. Helen N.
