ZELENOK Branch 8, its officers and I are proud to know that the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Zelenok, is a United States Air Force Academy Graduate. David S. Zelenok graduated June 1, 1977. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. While a Cadet at the Academy, he attended Basic Paratrooper School, at Fort Benning, Georgia with the United States Army. He was then selected as an instructor in the Academy’s Para-Sailing Program. Also while a Cadet, he underwent a rigorous Survival Program in the Pike National Forest. Last summer he was selected to be trained as a Ranger for the Boy Scouts of America National Camp Ground in Cimarron, New Mexico. In all four years at the Academy he earned recognition of the Dean’s List.
