Bicentennial Tour (Continued from Page Twelve) Airport, our hearts were heavy, we were sorry to have had to bring this beautiful trip to an end, but all of us had obligations, so we had to head back home. Our plane stopped for refueling at Shannon Airport in Ireland where we had an opportunity, that is where the ladies had an opportunity, to spent whatever few dollar's they may have saved after being in Hungary for three weeks. Our flight back; of course, occurred during the daylight hours because the time change kept following us and a terrific shout went up from the passengers in the plane when the Captain announced that we were over the U.S.A. Finally we had reached our destination. As our giant plane taxied to a stop at the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport it was again a confusing situation as we went through passport inspection and then finally through U.S. Customs. It was such a pleasure to be greeted at the airport by Mr. Gus G. Nagy, Vice President-Membership Services, and our newly appointed Vice President of Marketing, Mr. Stephen Szilagyi and his family, and, of course, Frances Furedy was there as she was on the take off to greet us back to Pittsburgh. There were many tearful farewells as each headed for his own home, all of us certainly will talk for many months, perhaps years, about our experiences and at this time would like to close this article by thanking the Board of Directors and the Officers of William Penn Association for making this trip possible. (As a P.S. to this article all of you will be pleased to know that Mr. Elmer Charles, National President, has found his Vizsla, Apród which had escaped from the hatch of the plane on our arrival in Pittsburgh.) Vice President John P. Balia and Rev. Fr. John J. Nyeste.
