He stated he has just returned from a small Hungarian community in Louisiana, Arpadhon, where he attended a Hungarian festival. This community is promoting the revitalization of Hungarian heritage through local Protestant and catholic churches. The purpose of his visit here is to inform the Association that the American Hungarian Foundation has embarked on a program of writing the History of Hungarian Immigration to America which dates back as far as the Colonial Days of this country. The William Penn Association has played a tremendous part during these past ninety years in making Hungarian history in America. He would like very much to have the Association take an active part in collecting data for this research. This would take both moral and financial support on the part of each individual and also the Association, and he sincerely requested this support. 28) President Charles thanked Professor Molnár for his presentation. It was further moved that planning for this tournament be referred to the Executive Committee for proper action. 31) President Charles offered a verbal report to the Board of Directors on the Tour to Hungary. He reported the tour to be completely sold out with stand-by reservations. Plans are progressing satisfactorily and all letters, reports and monies have been submitted to the proper authorities. Mr. Charles reiterated that simply because William Penn Association is sponsoring this trip to Hungary there should be no misconception on the part of anyone that William Penn Association or its Official Family is endorsing the present Hungarian form of government. This trip was planned so that those Hungarian members who migrated to the United States of America will have the opportunity to visit their families, friends and birthplace, and also afford an opportunity for those of the second and third generation to see the land where their forefathers came from. 32) The Board acknowledged receipt of the following letters of thanks: Mr. Andrew Fohl, President of the St. George Catholic Union for the invitation to the 90th Anniversary Banquet.
