70. Chairman Charles recessed the Convention at 4:30 P.M. until 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, September 9, 1975. 71. Chairman of the Convention, Elmer Charles, reconvened the Meeting at 9:30 A.M. and same are present. 72. Secretary of the Convention, Frank J. Radvany, read the Minutes of Monday's meeting. It was moved, and seconded to accept the Minutes as corrected. Director Zoltán B. Emri expresses sincere thanks and appreciation to Convention Secretary Radvany for the excellent manner in which he prepared the very lengthy Minutes of Monday’s meeting. The Convention so acknowledged. 73. The Convention Chairman next introduced Mr. John McCarthy, Chairman of the Elections Committee. Mr. McCarthy thanked the Convention for the opportunity to serve and requested each member of the Elections Committee to approach the dais and introduce themselves. The following constitute the Elections Committee: John F. McCarthy, Chairman Joseph P. Arvay Elizabeth Akai Julia Danko Mary Miller Elmer W. Toth William J. Kovach Stephen L. Mészáros Géza J. Lang The Committee then prepared for the balloting for Board of Directors, Auditing Committee members and Alternates. 74. Mr. Elmer Charles introduced Mr. Thomas Gmiter, President of the National Slovak Society, and John Serovy, Secretary of the Society. Mr. Gmiter addressed the Convention and extended warm greetings from the oldest Slovak Society in America to the William Penn Association, and extended best wishes for a successful and fruitful Convention. 75. Convention Chairman Charles announced that the ballots are printed and the Convention is now ready to vote by roll. Elections Committee Chairman McCarthy informed the Convention that there are three separate ballots. One ballot for the Board of Directors, One ballot for Alternate Directors and one ballot for both Auditing Committee Members and their Alternates. The Convention delegates then commenced to vote for twelve Directors, twelve Alternate Directors, six Auditing Committee Members and three Alternate Auditing Committee Members. 76. The Chairman recessed the meeting at 12 o’clock noon until 2:00 P.M. 77. Mr. Charles reconvened the meeting at 2:00P.M. and same are present. 78. Elections Committee Chairman John McCarthy informed the Convention that he has the results of the election. First, he congratulated the Convention for the fine cooperation it rendered during the voting. Secondly, he congratulated the Elections Committee for the efficient manner in which election was conducted and the votes tabulated. There were 118 ballots cast, and none were voided. Beke and 3rd Alternate is Kenneth Wentland. 79. Chairman Charles thanked Mr. McCarthy and the entire Elections Committee for their fine performance in conducting the election. It was moved, seconded and adopted by the Convention Delegates to accept the report of the Elections Committee, and the Convention Chairman hereby discharged the Committee. 80. Mr. Elmer Charles, Convention Chairman, announced that all offices have been duly filled. 81. Convention Chairman announced that each delegate is invited to the Convention banquet to be held this evening in the Pittsburgh Room, the delegates and their family members are guests of the Association. 82. Chairman recessed the meeting at 2:30 P.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 10, 1975. 83. Convention Chairman, Mr. Elmer Charles, reconvened the meeting at 10:00 A.M. and same are present. 84. Secretary of the Convention Frank J. Radvany read the Minutes of Tuesday’s meeting. It was moved, seconded and adopted to accept the Minutes as corrected. 85. Mr. Charles introduced the Chairman of the Resolutions Committee, Frank J. Wukovits, Jr. Mr. Wukovits addressed the Convention and extended thanks for the opportunity to serve along with his entire Committee. He requested that all the members of the Resolutions Committee approach the dais and introduce themselves. The following were members of the Resolutions Committee: Frank J.
