DIRECTORS DINNER

Once at the end of each four year term the Board of Directors holds an awards dinner at which time those members of the Board who have, through their years of

This year’s Dinner was held in the Sky Boom of the William Penn Hotel Tuesday evening August 26, 1975. The National Officers, Directors and Auditing Committee members attended, as did Mrs. Sofia Gomory, widow of the late Medical Director, Samuel C. Gomory.

Mr. Elmer Charles, National President was the Toastmaster. In his remarks he explained the history of the Illustrious Member citations, this being the highest honor the Association can bestow upon a member.

He called upon Vice President Louis L. Varga to present the Illustrious Member citation to Director Frank Bero who is also President of Branch 1, Bridgeport, Conn. Mr. Varga detailed the many sided activities Director Bero has performed on Continued on Page 5
