Branch 48 held its annual Christmas Party for the juvenile members of the Branch, at the Árpád Hall. We are happy to report that as in the past not only did the children enjoy themselves but also did their parents. Judging from the favorable comments made at the party we know that this is one of the most popular and greatly expected events of the year. We all believe and hope that the William Penn Association shall continue to sponsor this event in the future. Charles Fabian, President Joseph Toma, Branch Mgr. 51 Passaic, N. J. The Children’s Christmas Party was a real success and all the children and the parents enjoyed the good movie “Mr. Magoo” Christmas films also the home style foods and refreshments. President Mrs. Yolanda Rinko and the officers really worked hard to prepare all the foods, decorations and etc. Santa Claus gave the children a memorable gift. The parents of the children also enjoyed the party. Yolanda Rinko, President 59 Scalp Level, Pa. Santa Claus arrived greeting all the children. Each child whispering in Santa’s ear as to what he or she wanted for Christmas. Christmas Carols were sung with Santa Claus leading the group. Each child was presented with a Yuletide gift and a song book. Santa was more than happy to have each child sit on his knee and present each one with these gifts. Thanks to the William Penn Association for giving us this opportunity. All the children gathered around Santa and pictures were taken so that everyone may see them next year at the William Penn Christmas Party. A light lunch was served with the sound of Christmas Carols flowing through the room. Everyone sat around chatting, eating and enjoying the Christmas atmosphere.
