It provides $10,000 of low cost PERMANENT LIFE INSURANCE at a time when the student can least afford an expensive Life Insurance program. eHow Does It Work? Up to age 25, the annual premium remains the same, regardless of age. At age 25, the premium changes to a modified life paid up at 65 plan, with an annual premium of $175.00 for both men and women. The plan guarantees an estate of $10,000 and begins to accumulate Cash Values and dividends at age 26.* *dividends are based on current scale and not guaranteed.
