It is noteworthy to mention that currently the investment and controller’s department under the direct supervision of President Charles, Secretary Stelkovics and Treasurer Somogyi, are rendering all decisions as to acquiring and disposing of securities and preparing all financial budgeting for the association. The attached financial statement discloses that our national officers have made wise and prudent decisions in handling the investment department and the controllers division as evidenced by the total gain for the year 1969 and it is the committees express opinion this year, 1970 shall be another beneficial year for the association and its members because of the caliber of leadership that we now have. Secretary Albert Stelkovics, explained to this committee the method of having all national officers, directors, auditing committee, fieldworkers and home office employees covered under fidelity bonds and also displayed the various types of insurance coverages on the association and its assets. Secretary Stelkovics also outlined to this committee the association’s employee pension plan. The By- Laws of the pension plan were carefully read and evaluated and it was noted that the Directors and national officers shall have the responsibility and authority for the management and operation of the pension plan. President Charles and legal counsel Gay Banes were interviewed separately about what progress is being made on the new building project that the association now has under consideration. Their individual reports disclosed that this project is now out of the formative stage and plans have been submitted as to the location and size of the new building and additional information will be forthcoming in the near future. Upon visiting the various departments staffed by the home office personnel, we observed that all employees appear to be performing their respective duties diligently and the work load being divided into three separate departments under the direct supervision of the national officers.
