Members belonging to these three Branches are requested to transact all of their William Penn business through the Eastern District Office located at: 530 Kings Highway Cutoff Fairfield, Conn. Telephone (203) 255-0405 The Eastern District Office has been handling these Branches for the past several years, therefore there will actually be no administrative procedural change. Childrens Christmas Parties By now all Branches should have received notice from the Home Office that it is time to prepare for one of the Association’s best liked fraternal activity namely the Childrens Christmas Parties. In order to have a successful program for the children, preparations should be made now, to guarantee each attending child a memorable event. The Home Office has mailed to the Branch Managers forms which are to be completed and returned and on the basis of these forms the Home Office will prepare printed invitations, arrange to furnish the Branch with Christmas Carol booklets. The Board of Directors, as in the past, has agreed to financially assist the Branches in arranging the Childrens Christmas Parties. The assistance is based on the number of children at the Branch. This assistance together with the efforts of the Branch should provide a real fine Christmas Party for the Children. The Board of Directors and Officers urge all members to attend their Branch meetings to assist the Officers in preparing for this type of program. The Officers are always willing to spend their time in the interest of our Juvenile members and they can always utilize the assistance of the adult members. In the event your Branch has not scheduled a Christmas Party in the past, go to your meeting and show the Branch Officers that you as adult members are willing to assist in order for the Juvenile Members to have a good time as guests of the Association and the Branch. Should there be any interested Branches which have not received information from the Home Office, please write to the National Secretary for details. The National Officers and Board of Directors would like to see the 1969 Childrens Christmas Parties to be the most successful venture to date. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS of the WILLIAM PENN FRATERNAL ASSOCIATION announces with profound sorrow the death of JOSEPH B. I ROCKY Branch 15, Chicago, III. an ILLUSTRIOUS MEMBER of this Association.
