Stephen Gall, Manager, Br. 52, Windber, Pa., Honored bership, but among the Officers and Directors of the Association and it is because of this service that the Board saw fit to award Mr. Gall the Illustrious Citation and lapel pin. Mr. Gall ex­pressed sincere thanks and appreciation for the honor bestowed upon him and vowed that he would continue to do what he could as a Fraternalist to help the cause of the William Penn Fraternal Association and its members, not only in Windber but throughout the area. Greetings were extended in Hungarian by former Director Michael J. Faczan, Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Mr. Julius E. Somogyi, National Treasurer extended greetings. Mr. John Sabo, National Controller spoke, outlining the progress being made by the William Penn Fraternal Association and rendering to its members the best possible service available through a computerized opera­tion. Mr. Sabo’s remarks were well taken by the audience. Greetings were extended by Mrs. Ethel Faczan, President of Branch 8, Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The following were introduced: Mr. Guests at Testimonial Dinner of Stephen Gall, manager Br. 52, Windber, Pa. A Testimonial Dinner was held for Stephen Gall, Manager of Branch 52, Windber, Pennsylvania, Saturday, August 2, 1969 in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Social Hall, Windber, Pennsyl­vania. The Hall was gaily decorated for the occasion and the turnout of mem­bers and friends was far above the expected. Certainly the Committee on arrangements is to be congratulated for the good work they did. A very fine dinner prepared by the ladies of Altar and Rosary Society of St. Mary’s Church was served. Father Joseph Vadas, Pastor of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Windber, gave the Invocation. After dinner, Mr. Michael Charney, President of Branch 52 rose to act as Toastmaster for the evening. In his in­troductory remarks, he cited the reasons for the festivities this evening, namely, the awarding of the Illustrious Citation by the Board of Directors to Stephen Gall for his more than 20 years of dedicated service to the Branch and the Association. Toastmaster Charney requested National Secretary, Albert J. Stelkovics, to make the presentation. National Secretary Stelkovics was pleased to have the honor of making this presentation. He has known about the dedicated services of Mr. Gall ever Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Gall since he took over as Secretary of Branch 52.
