The Ladies Auxiliary of Branch 18 held their annual election of Officers for 1969 with the President being Mrs. Margaret Vespremi, Grace Csiszár, Vice- President, Tilly Yambor, Secretary, Mary Demcsak, Assistant Secretary, Julia Danko, Treasurer and Martha Balosé, Auditor. The Auxiliary still has plenty of room for more members, so contact any of the above officers if you are interested. Sunday, December 22nd was the date of the Ladies Auxiliary annual Christmas dinner which was held at the Magyar Haz in Delray. The William Penn Branch 18 Mixed Bowling League also held their Christmas Dinner in conjunction with the Ladies Auxiliary. For this particular occasion one of our better bowlers, Gideon Tukacs had promised to donate the turkey he won the week before for bowling the highest over average, (you don’t really believe that do you). Stephen Danko thought he had the turkey prize all wrapped up by bowling way over his average, but then “Hot Shot Tukacs” got on target and the turkey went his way. Oh well Steve, there’s always another year. Our goal for this year is for more attendance at the regular monthly meetings, if each branch member says to himself “I’ll attend the next meeting” then we should have a full house. See you at the V.F.W. Hall at our next meeting. J. P. Vespremi Reporter 19 New Brunswick, N. J. Our Children’s Christmas Party was held Sunday, December 8th and was a huge success.
