This is to notify all members of Branch 6, located in Everett, Massachusetts that effective December, 1969 the Home Office will dissolve Branch 6 and the members thereof will be transferred to Branch 1, located in Bridgeport, Conn. For all matters pertaining to their William Penn insurance, members of Branch 6 may write either to the Connecticut District Office located at 530 Kings Highway Cutoff, Fairfield, Conn, or write directly to the Home Office. Members will continue to recieve from the computer center all payment due notices and members are requested to continue to make their payments directly to Pittsburgh as in the past. 13 Trenton, N. J. As we promised last month to give you one of our Big Surprises will be, we will have TWO Bands. One will be the fabulous well-known orchestra “Kara-Nemeth” and the other band is a young up coming local group called “The Blue Baron Trio”. Dancers should be in their glory with continuous music throughout the evening. So, members and friends bring your friends and also the younger generation because we guarantee all an enjoyable time. AND STILL MORE SURPRISES TO COME. Juvenile members all aspects show towards a gala Christmas Party on Sunday, December 14th. As usual Santa Claus will be there with gifts and goodies for all, entertainment and refreshments, also. Lots of door prizes to be won by some lucky children. Hoping to see all our Branch 13 youngsters on the 14th at the St. Stephen’s Parish Hall, Genesee and Hudson Streets at 2 P.M. Miss Margaret Kovach, Reporter 14 Cleveland, Ohio The American Hungarian Dance Group performed before a capacity crowd at our annual Fall Festival held at Bethlen Hall. The dancers, under the direction of Miss Rita Karnya, did several beautiful, and authentic folk dances. Among them the Bottle Dance and the Flirtation Dance. The Juvenile members were charming and captivating as always and no one missed a step. We were happy to see so many of our friends from Buckeye Road and also people traveling from Clevelands West Side and Mr. and Mrs. Bunchy from Youngstown, Ohio. Mrs. Margaret Bunchy was kind enough to sing a few songs for us. The highlight of the Miss Debbie Nemeth and Thomas C. Balia one of the juvenile couples who won the Csardas Contest at our annual Fall Festival. Thomas is a fourth generation member of the William Penn, he is the son of Agency Manager and Mrs. John L. Balia, and grandson of Director and Mrs. John P. Balia. evening was the Csárdás Contest. The winners were as follows: In the Golden Agers Contest receiving a $15 prize were Mr. and Mrs. Hartman. In the Intermediate Group receiving $25.00 resulted in a tie between Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Tira and Nick and Vera Levi. In the juvenile division also a tie between Richard SanFelipi and Christine Boucek; and Thomas C. Balia and Debbie Nemeth. The Children’s prize was $10 generously donated by Councilman Robert D. Lavdis who is a member of our branch. Congratulations go to our Entertainment Chairman Frank Ruskay and President Bill Kastan who once again have done an outstanding job. Mr. Ruskay announced that next years Csárdás Contest prize will be 3 American Hungarian Dance Group and officers of Branch 14 at our annual Fall Festival held Nov. 1, 1969.
