BOWLING TOURNAMENT (Continued from page 1) who want to look over the Bowling alleys prior to bowling on Saturday will find the Gazebo Room in full swing. As you can see the Wedgewood Lanes all under one roof can meet all of our needs. Within the area of the Wedgewood Plaza, shopping is available and the Wedgewood Cinema is next door to the Bowling Lanes. Ample parking is available. Buses will depart from the downtown hotels to the bowling lanes and will be available to the bowlers on Saturday and Sunday. A Bus Schedule will be given when the bowlers check in on Friday night at the Registration Desk. As in the past when buses were provided the bowlers are urged to make use of them because of the cost involved in running them all The Romantic Holiday Inn Motel. A delicious and delightful Banquet is being planned for Saturday, June 1st at the Hotel Ohio, where we will be limited to 700, so please send in your reservations to the Committee early. Dinner music at the Banquet will be furnished by FRANK BORISZ and his 7-piece Orchestra from Detroit, Mich. His music for dancing is the BEST! The Banquet program will be SHORT! Graduated 1920 from John Marshall Law School. Taught law at John Marshall Law School and practiced law in Cleveland. In 1932 he was appointed to the municipal bench of Cleveland. In 1936 elected Common Pleas Judge of Cuyahoga County. Elected mayor in November 1941 and re-elected in 1943. In 1944 he was elected Governor. He was defeated for that office in 1946. In 1948 he ran again and was elected. Subsequently he was elected to a third, fourth, and a fifth term. In 1956 Lausche was elected to the United States Senate from Ohio. In 1962 he was re-elected. Mr. Lausche is a member of Branch 14 and very active in Hungarian affairs. Branch 14 wishes Senator Lausche success in his bid for re-election. FRANK R. POKORNY Education: John Carroll University (Pre-Law), Cleveland Marshall Law School, J.D. Military: U.S. Army — Service: Philippines and Korea. Commissioner, Cuyahoga County (February, 1968 to date). Frank R. Pokorny is a former fiveterm member of the Ohio General Assembly. During his ten years in the State Legislature, Mr. Pokorny served on all major standing committees. Frank is active in all the Hungarian affairs. He is a member of branch 14 as was his father the late Frank J. Pokorny. William Penn wishes Frank R. Pokorny success in his bid for re-election as County Commissioner of Cuyahoga County. JOSEPH J. HORVATH He was born in Gömör megye, Demo. He graduated from St. Elizabeth’s R. C. Grade School, and then went to East Tech High School, Special Schools Niagara School of Speech, Henry Georges Social Science School, Smiley’s Commercial Law School, John Huntington Polytechnic Institute. Joseph J. Horvath is a candidate for election as State Representative to the General Assembly of Ohio from the 43rd District comprising of the following wards in the city of Cleveland: 16th, 18th, 19th and the 29th ward. Joseph J. Horvath served in the Legislature twelve years. Joseph J. Horvath has been a member of William Penn for over twenty years and wrote for the Wiliam Penn for nearly twenty years—the column called “Watchtower”. He has a 100% labor record, and has always tried to represent the majority point of view. Branch 14 wishes Joseph J. Horvath success in coming nomination in the May Primaries.
