Kertesz 278 Omaha, Nebraska Branch 278, Omaha, Nebr., annual Christmas party was held Sunday eve­ning, December 17, and the Hungarian Hall was again filled with happy young­sters and parents. The program commenced with group singing, accompanied by Pianist, Debbie Edmonds, and directed by Jackie Zu­­roske. After the singing the audience was held spellbound by feats of magic by Magician, Charles Gross, who climaxed the program by bringing Santa out of a huge hat. About 200 attended the Christmas Party held by Branch 383, Buffalo, N.Y. The children and Parents were greeted by Joseph S. Taylor, President. There was a 45 minute Magician act by Michael Stollar the famous Hungarian Magician whose act held the children and even the elders spellbound. The distribution of yule presents and sweets by Santa Claus (Emery Cher) and his helpers (Joseph S. Taylor, Joseph W. Molnár and Diana Diera) was the climax of the afternoon. Thirty youngsters received door prizes. Branch 383 extends its thanks to all who participated to the success of the party, expecially to Mrs. Elizabeth Graf, Mrs. Gizella Huczel, Mrs. Helen Szabó who made and served the refreshments, to Mrs. Irene Újlaki and the officers of the Hungarian Home.
