278 Nemes Gerzson Белекович Лёринн - первый гидротехник области Ясшаг НЕМЕШ Гержон Автор знакомит читателей с деятельностью инженера-геодезиста Бедекович Лёринц (1752-1823) в северной части Большой венгерской низменности (Яскуншаг) в 1779—18 ! 9гг. в области гидромелиораиии и гидротехники. На территории Венгрии в то время начиналась эпоха регулирования вод, благоустройства русел рек, осушения болот. Для составления проектов требовались карты, показывающие исходное, «дикое» состояние природы. Такие карты в настоящее время представляют собой большую ценность, они содержат много ценных сведений и для работ нашего времени. Бедекович в своей деятельности постоянно ошущал противоречивые интересы отдельных крупных имений, населенных пунктов, которые он с успехом согласовывал. На основании его проектов выполнены регуляционные работы на водосборах притоков Тисы Задьва и Тарна, построены мельничные каналы. * * * Lőrinc Bedekovich, first hydraulic engineer of Jászkunság (Hungary) by G. NEMES The author presents the life and work of Lőrinc (Lawrence) Bedekovich (1725-1823), a surveyor, who was active in a region called Jászkunság (the Northern part of the Great Plains of Hungary) between 1779 and 1819 in land reclamation and hydraulic engineering. At that time, protection against floods, regulation of rivers, construction of mill-streams, reclamation of the marshy, swampy areas were in their initial stage in Hungary. Execution was based on comprehensive engineering reports. Maps, prepared for these reports depicting the historical layout are of great value and may be used even today. The greatness of Bedekovich's work resulted in compromises among the diverging interests of towns, villages and big manors. His plans were used for the regulation of rivers Zagyva and Tama (tributaries of river Tisza), for the reclamation of their surroundings and for the reconstruction of some mill-streams. * * * L. Son activité couvre la période de 1779 à 1819. En Hongrie, cette période marque le début des travaux de protection contre les inondations, de rectification fluviale, de construction des tirans d'eau de moulins, d'assainissement des zones marécageuses et des étendues de submersion.
