dunen si s DEPÉRET were shown by MEIN (1964) when he compared it with his newly described _M^_vi^eti. The type-material of this latter came from Lissieu, France. The age of that locality seems to be older than that of our site, however, it is younger than most of the others known with fossil Megaderma . The recently described M. mediterraneum (SIGÉ, 1974) lacks Mi for direct comparison; however, it is bigger than M . j an os syi n . sp. Among all described species, Megaderma watwat BATE seems the youngest one. Unfortunately, a comparison is impossible because of the lack of molars in the typematerial. Finally, I should like to note that among recent forms the Asian M . lyra is the nearest morphologically, but it is clearly smaller. Rhinolophus cf. delphinensis GAILLARD Materiái. Right upper C with broken tip, left upper C tip portion, trigonid of a right lower M. Remarks. Basal cross-section of upper C smaller than that in Rh. ferrumequinum, and without outer posterior depression. This indicates a P2 at another place, rather in the tooth-row line, and not pushed out of it, as in recent species. Rhinolophus sp. Material. Left lower C. Measurements. Basal length of lower C 0,95 mm, basal width 0, 90 mm. Remarks. The size of this tooth approaches that of the lower C in Rh . mehelyi . The height of the shaft is also very similar, however, it is less shortened, and its outer margin less oblique than in Rh. mehelyi . The fossil tooth has a prominent antero-internal cingulum cusp, missing in Rh . mehelyi . This cusp is also not available in Rh. lissiensis . but a more or less expressed shallow depression on the anterior margin of its lower C . Rhinolophus lissiensis MEIN (syn.: Rhinolophus grivensis lissiensis MEIN, 1964) Material. Right mandible with I2-M3; fragment of a left mandible without teeth and with alveoli of P2-M3-, fragment of a right mandible with alveoli of I1-P2; middle portion of a right mandible without teeth; hind portion of a right mandible; two fragments of right mandibles each with M3; right Mi; two left Mi; right M 3 , two left M 3 , left upper C; distal portion of a left humerus; three left cochleas. There are the remains of at least there individuals in the material. Measurements. C-M 3 length 7,0 mm; P 2-M 3 length 5,93; P2-P4 length 4, 72; P4-M3 length 5,17; M1-M3 length 4, 27; Mi length 1, 50-1, 59; trigonid width of Ml 0, 90-0, 92; talonid width of Mi 0, 95; M2 length 1, 36; trigonid width of M2 0, 95; talonid width of M 2 1,00; M3 length 1,31-1,36; trigonid width of M3 0,86-0,95; talonid'width of M3
