PAGE 2 December 21, 1955 First in Buffalo \ Chance has made Margaret. C. Trimper, Buffalo, New York, a kind of “firster” in our membership at Branch 383 there. She is the first new member of Branch 383 signed under the William Penn Fraternal Association name. Margaret. age 16, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Trimper of 14 Oregon St., Buffalo, N.Y. She is a student at Bishop McMahon High School. The Trimper family is one of the most represented in Branch 383. Mother of Joseph Miller, Jr., branch 59 Manager, Passes Away Mrs. Joseph (Fomback) Miller, Verhovay member since 1914, passed away on October 21, 1955 in Scalp Level, Pa. after an extended illness. At the time of her death Mrs. Miller was a member of Branch 59, Scalp Level, Pa. Funeral mass was celebrated on Tuesday at St. Mary’s Roman Catho­lic Church by the Rev. Stephen He­gedűs, pastor. She was laid to rest in the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Windber, Pa. Many Vérhovayans, Hungarians and friends attended the funeral. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Miller, Sr., who was the Treasurer and still holds the office of Auditor for Branch 59 for the past 40 years, and the following children, Joseph, Jr., the present Branch 59 Manager, Frank, Elizabeth, Anna, Paul and Rose, and 19 grandchildren, •who are all members of the Verho­vay.
