HAPPY NEW YEAR Young Member Excels in Football Veihovayan Robert Dutzman of Scalp Level, Pennsylvania has been making lbcal football history as an outstanding high school player. Bob is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dutzman, 610 Railroad Sti'eet. The family are well-known members of branch 59. Local and out of town papers have reported in detail and with enthusiasm the football exploits of young Dutzman who has the nick­name of “The Toe” for his prowess in kicking. Windber High School attributes much of its success the past two years to the effective kicking of Bob, a 165 pound, 5 ft. 9 inch right g-uard. His “automatic toe,” another fit­ting description of Bob, has made a record of 27 successful conversions in 38 tries. Included this year is an area record, 19 straight conversions, which beats his own mark of 15 last season. And for all his football achieve­ments at Windber High School, Bob is the very proud owner of the “All- Scholastic Football Team Certifi­cate of Award ... has been selected Wedding Bells 50 Years Ago A high light came to their lives when Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Valent celebrated their golden wedding Nov­­veniber 20, 1954. They renewed their vows at Mass, 9:30 in the morning, at St. Joseph of Nazareth Church, Cincinnati, Ohio. And the next day, beginning ati 3 o'clock in the afternoon, the cele­brating Valents were feted by their relatives, friends and well-wishers. The elderly couple came from Arad, Hungary to The United States approximately forty-eight years ago.
