Simcho, is urging the mem­bers to make this a year of branch activity and full cooperative effort. Verhovay Journal-------------------------------------BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL We feel our attempts to give you a verbal picture of the beauty and splendor of the Grand Ballroom, scene of the Victory Dinner and Night of Budapest Dance, would in every try fall short. This picture tells you more than inadequate words. The capacity of the Grand Ballroom is 1,750. With the adjoining Elast and West Rooms open the capacity is 2,500. The Grand Ballroom will stage the climax of the 11th Annual National Bowling Tournament and 1954 National Verhovay Fellowship Days. President Simcho is desirous of organizing a bowling team for next year, which team would participate in the national Verhovay bowling tourney. Fellow members and good friends of member Louis Beszedes were on hand to celebrate his birth day March 15. The Beszedes family lives in Boys Town where Mr. Beszedes is em­ployed at the Ceramics and Pottery Works and is highly esteemed both at work and in his community. After an absence of five years, Mrs. Nicholas Fekete von Nagyivany, daughter of member Beszedes, re­turned home March 13. She had liv­ed in Caracas, Venezuela. Her hus­band will join her in August.
