TOURNAMENT ALBUM Both Practical and Sentimental Those who have attended our yearly national bowling tournaments know that in conjunction with these grandiose events we publish the Tournament Album. Hardly a member or guest would go away without taking along the Verhovay Tournament Album, for this booklet, always attractive and clear, tells briefly the Tournament and Verhovay Fellowship Days story, and it becomes a worthy keepsake. In the Tourhament Album are the orderly listing of the bowling matches, the advertisements of businesses, the greetings of groups and individuals, etc. As a medium for advertisement the Tournament Album is worth many more times the cost of placing an advertisement therein, and this fact every business man or company well knows. The next Tournament Album will of course be especially utilitarian to New York City and area places of business as that city is the locale of the 11th Annual National Verhovay Bowling Tournament and the 1954 National Verhovay Fellowship Days. The Tournament Album will be distributed to thousands, to many from the New York area, and so commercial advertising in the Verhovay Tournament Album will guarantee a harvest of profits to the advertisers. For groups or individuals inserting greetings in the Tournament Album, there is the satisfying feeling that comes naturally from such expressions of fraternal felicitation. The booklet becomes a valuable souvenir on personal grounds. Insertions in the Tournament Album are reasonably priced. A full page sells for only $30.00, half page for $15.00, quarter page $7.50. The patron ad is $2.00 one line and adds much to the sentimental value of the booklet when the listing shows an impressive number of names. Persons or firms wishing to advertise in the Verhovay' Tournament Album should do so no later than April 5, 1954, preferably as early as possible. The lion’s share of the Tournament Album work will be done by Branch 48 of New York City, since the site of the 1954 tournament is New York. The branch has formed an album committee under the chaiTmanship of Dr. Charles Foeldy, with branch president Albert Ibos and branch manager Joseph Toma adding; their strong support to get together the best Tournament Album to date. The members of Branch 48 are equally determined. The Verhovay Tournament Album is an excellent kind of advertising and greeting not to be. overlooked.
