Branch- 443 MESSAGE The Detroit district manager and manager of Branch 443, Joseph Szabó, has asked his members to begin 1953 right by pausing to ponder over what they as a branch and as individual members did for the betterment and progress of their Branch 443 and the Association itself the year 1952 just past. The energetic district and branch manager feels that this kind of retrospection is the Jiest way the members can recognize their Verhovay failings and make the new year 1953 one of greater effort and accomplishment, both for the branch and the Association by planned and definite individual and collective action. Mr. Szabó cautions his members not to let their officers carry the full burden of responsibility but to share the branch functions with them. He emphasizes that only with the cooperation of the membership can the branch officers do their jobs well, and attendance at the meetings is one outstanding way of working a'ong with the branch officers. District Manager Joseph Szabo’s advice, if followed, would produce the desired effects. BECK LEY, W.
