The meeting was attended by Branch Managers Andrew Hankoczky, Julius Polichanv, Joseph Czeiszperger, and Andrew Papp, Branch President, Stephen Haller, Branch Auditor, and former director John Kelemen who is editor-owner of the Dayton Hungarian Herald. Many interesting letters have been received attached to the new application blanks expressing thanks to the leaders of the Association for conducting’ such a campaign in conjuction with the tournament. This will be the first beauty contest held by the^Verhovay Fraternal Insurance Association. The selection of a beauty queen who will reign during 1952 will be a difficult task in as much as the Verhovay Fraternal Insurance Association is noted for its lovely female members. It has been correctly stated that every female member of Verhovay is a queen in her own rights, and the selection of a super queen will not be an easy matter. This beauty contest itself is worth the trip to Columbus both for the contestants and the spectators. Atlantic City from now on will have nothing on Verhovay, and who knows whither these beauty contests will lead. Perhaps some day Miss America will be drawn from one of our Verhovay queens. The contest will be open to all Verhovay female members! and no official entry blanks will be required. Every girl or young* woman who attends automatically becomes an entrant. The judge« — whoever they may be — will not overlook anyone. FAMOUS ZIGGY BELA DETROIT HUNGARIAN VILLAGE ORCHESTRA TO PLAY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY DANCES The Tournament Executive Committee proudly announces that it has secured the services of the Ziggv Bela Orchestra of the Hungarian Village. JOHN BENCZE National President Never throughout history has a man who lived a life of ease left a name worth remembering. (Theodore Roosevelt) To discuss an opinion with a fool is like carrying a lantern before a blind man. (De Gaston) By all means marry; if you get a good wife, you will be very happy; if you get a bad wife, you will become a philosopher. (Socrates) You can’t build up a reputation on what you are going to do. (Henry Ford) *
