Frank Szilágyi 18.28 COLERAIN CONSTABLE THANKS ELECTORS Steve Kovach, President of Branch 432, St. Clairsville, Ohio, wishes to take this opportunity to thank the. members of the Verhovay for the splendid support they have given him in the last elections. A novice in politics, this was the first time that he was nominated for public office and it was quite a surprise when he entered as the winner of fthe constable’s office, defeating six opponents. Thanking his many friends and fellow-members for their support, Mr. Kovach wishes to assure them that he will do his human best to live up to the confidence placed in him. We join the membership of branches 288 and 432 in congratulating Mr. Kovach upon his election to Constable in Colerain Township and wish him the best of success in his office. A specialist is one who has his patients trained to become ill in his office hours. A general practitioner is likely to be called off the golf course at any time. The old-fashioned wall phones were superior in one way. Women stopped talking when their fdgt got tired. Few things are harder to put up with than the annoyance of a good example. The more we do, the more we can do; the more busy we are, the more leisure we have. To discuss an opinion with a fool is like carrying a lantern before a blind man. A thing that seems to improve the longer you keep it is your temper. When a fence is falling, every passer-by kicks it. WEDDING IN TOLEDO Wedding bells rang on November 27th for Miss Mary Ann Fortuna of 363 Burger St., Toledo, O., a lifetime member of Branch 27, who became the bride of Mr. Frank Kovács in nuptial services well attended by a large crowd of the relatives and friends of the happy couple. Reception was at St. Steven’s Hall, where after a sumptuous wedding dinner a dance was held. The family of Mrs. Kovács is well known in the City of Toledo. Her father is a retired citizen enjoying án exceptional reputation in the) Birmingham section of the city and her brother made the supreme sacrifice in World War II. The members of Branch 27 extend itheir heartiest congratulations to the happy bride and groom and wish them a long life blessed with happiness, good health and prosperity. (C. B.)
