Hut, those who did brave the cold soon warmed up to the strains of the enjoyable music furnished by Paul Kovács and his orchestra. They say practice makes perfect and I believe it when I think back what a year has done with our young peoples’ dancing group. Didn’t all of you who saw them dance at our dance November 3rd agree that they certainly had perfect timing and that each time they perform they seem better than the last time? Talking about snow and ice reminds me that Christmas is coming; and that, of course, means Santa Claus to the youngsters, who will have the opportunity of meeting him at our Christmas Party, December , 16, Sunday afternoon at 3.00 p.m. in the Blue Hall at 333 West North Avenue. Refreshments, candy and soft drinks will be served to all the youngsters; and suitable refreshments available to the adults. I believe, if I’m not a little premature in announcing it, that we will also see some movies which^ should keep the youngsters entertained while the parents “gab”. So, come one, come all, bring your youngsters and have them enjoy this occasion. You know, of course, that as in the past, we will again have the youngsters perform (sort of an amateur program) — each performing his or her little act and they will be given a little prize for this and they also will have the pleasure* of talking to jolly old Santa himself. Talking about children reminds me that again we have the pleasure of announcing birth of. a new baby.
