Szaba of 1972 Burr St., Toledo, O., highly popular and universally respected members of Branch 27, observed their 25th wedding anniversary on Saturday, August 25th. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Dr. Elmér Eordogh, pastor of St. Stephen’s R.C. Church, performed the ceremonies in the morning, after which open house was held at the home of the couple with delicious foods and refreshments served buffet style to all who came to congratulate them upon their silver wedding. Many of the relatives, good friends, fellowmembers and neighbours attended congratulating- Mr. and Mrs. Szabó upon their silver anniversary. The officers and members of Br. 27 join the good friends of the Szabó family in congratulating them and extending- to them their very best wishes for continued happiness and contentment, for there are close and unbreakable ties between the Szabó family and our Association. The mother of youthful Mrs. Szabó, Mrs. John Johanovics, used to be president and, then, secretary for a good many years of the First St. Stephen’s R.C. Women’s Society which became later affiliated with the Verhovay Fraternal Insurance Association. She did a splendid job in developing this organization which, subsequently, merg-ed with Branch 27. Her daughter, Mrs. Szabó, together with her husband, followed her example because they are pillars of Branch 27. All of the family, including their seven children, are members of the Association. May the rich blessings of God rest upon the entire family and preserve their happiness for many years to come. COLOMAN BERTALAN, District Manager. age of 16 on February 12, 1950 when she transferred to the Senior Order. May God bless you, Elizabeth Mary, in the noble career you have chosen for yourself and find success and happiness in whatever you undertake! May the blessings of the good Lord enrich the lives of the Capuano’s that they may find the fulfilment of their prayers and hopes in each other. The only thing wrong with most monthly budgets is that there’s always too much mc'uth left at the end of your money. A girdle shapes a woman’s past, present and future, all at the same time. There are still some things you can get for a dollar. Like nickels, dimes, quarters. A bachelor is a man who would rather wash socks than dishes. The girl who puckers up when the lights are out may be whistling in the dark. No home is complete without children. And it seldom stays that way with them.
