PITTSBURGH 19, PA. 1 Branch 3616 Hi ighlighter By BILL TORDA • • •-------• Cleveland, Ohio MONTHLY MEETING The regular monthly meeting was held on Friday night, September 2nd. It was supuposed to have been quite an important session concerning the bowling situation for the coming season. Certain conditions and questions kept arising, adding just a little bit of doubt, thereby delaying matters somewhat in coming to any definite planning. As one thing kept leading to another, it was finally decided that another meeting would be held on the following Wednesday. So, after the meeting was adjourned, refreshments were served. Coffee was a gift of Ella Moses, a cake by Ann Pinter, cookies from Julius Nagy, made by wife Edith, and also waffles made by Flo. Marozanyi. A reminder to show that we still have pleasant memories of the past. Then again, it also turns our thoughts forward to the next affair wherever it may be held. We shall present ourselves in strength, — true with colors, including our little brown jug . . . (spiritual support, you know.) Well, I’d hate to try to put the Whammie on any of our teams by making any early predictions, butt if our boys will continue at the present pace, I believe a few of them will be in on collecting some of those ‘Greenbacks’ they pass out to the lucky winners. The boys really have shown some mid-season form and I don’t mean perhaps. Quite a few of the boys already have made themselves a game in the 200 bracket or better, which is a good start in any man’s league.
