After the games everyone retired to the Club rooms at 835 W. 15th Avenue, Gary, Indiana were refreshments and Sandwiches were interwoven with many choice speeches and a great fraternalism sprang up between the two groups which vowed that it will continue just as long as Pop Lachman can stand it — all joking aside, everybody had a great time and Branch 138 of Gary was requested to bring its teams to The Chicago alleys on the 22nd day of November for a return match. On November 22, 1947, Branch 138 loaded its bowling team up on a greyhound bus and two automobiles, and arrived at the R & G Recreation Center on W. Chicago Avenue, Chciago, Illinois to return the match to Branch 342. The following are the results: “C” team 1st group Branch 138 W. Bodnar J. Sunny J. P. Kish F. Farkas E. Kish Branch 342 Chas.
