Branch 164 Bowlers The Westside Janitors’ Union has two branch 164 bowling teams in their league. Members Jan­­ovics, L. Fodor, John Kovács and Charlie Drungelo are on the men’s team while Marge Fodor, Barbara Kovács, Ann Drungelo and Grandma’ Kunstadt make the women’s team. Watch them at the next Verhovay National Tournament! MEMORIAL,. CEREMONIES The Chicago Memorial Cere­monies, held on September 8, were covered by our Supreme Auditor John Sabo. In behalf of the family of the late Theodor Sabo and the membership of Branch 164, we extend our thanks to him for his part in that mem­orable event! ADVANCE NOTICES ! Memorial Services at Gary, Ind., to be held by Branch 138 on October 27th will be attended by a large delegation from Branch 164. A victory banquet and dance Will be held by Branch 503, Chicago, III., on December 7th while on the 8th our own Chris­tmas party will be held ! Start saving your money and energy for these occasions but don’t forget to attend our “CHRISTMAS IN BUDAPEST” social on October 5th. Well, Pop’ Kunstadt did well in sending me the material for this report in time ... I know IT will happen any day now, in fact, any hour . . . Thanks for the many good wishes you sent, me for the arrival oi’ the future Rettmann offspring . . . Somehow, I have a feeling that they’ll come true. Until then, I remain your columnist, MIDGE. P. S. It is an 8 lb. boy for Midge and it is the happy privilege of little Gary Allen’s proud father to add this last item to Midge’s column. The pride of the Rettmann’s was born at the Mercy Hospital on September 16th, Monday morning at 9:30 a. m., just in time "for the opening of the Board of Director’s meeting.
