Gál Éva: Margaret Island - Our Budapest (Budapest, 2000)

Margaret Baths from the north “furnished with every convenience”. The corridors are closed at the back by a tall, circular cubicle made of crystal-clear glass affording a magnificent view of three parts of the island. The building was surrounded by a raised, grassy and flowery promenade with flower beds and a well-kept lawn enhancing the effect. Though all built in the style of Historicism, the lower and upper restau­rants, the hotel and the villas were all provided with spa­cious, airy terraces and verandas.
