Gál Éva: Margaret Island - Our Budapest (Budapest, 2000)
Margaret Baths from the north “furnished with every convenience”. The corridors are closed at the back by a tall, circular cubicle made of crystal-clear glass affording a magnificent view of three parts of the island. The building was surrounded by a raised, grassy and flowery promenade with flower beds and a well-kept lawn enhancing the effect. Though all built in the style of Historicism, the lower and upper restaurants, the hotel and the villas were all provided with spacious, airy terraces and verandas.
