This is not simply a specialist’s shop selling medical products (even insulin “pens”), diabetic foods, and bioproducts, but an out-patient department for internal diseases, specialized in diabetic illnesses. Here dia- betologist doctors give counselling, teach patients how to use syringes, carry out blood-sugar monitoring and various laboratory tests (glucose, kidney-function, cholesterol, etc.). It would be impossible to list every shop selling natural health products, however there are some that must be mentioned. Celiac disease patients may buy special cereals, breads and other health foods at the Malomipari Szakbolt (Flour Mill’s Shop). They sell a lot of other things as well, such as herb teas for kidney and diabetic patients, low-protein pasta, and soya products for anyone interested in health food.
