The tomb of architect Farkas Molnár women resting in the section: Mária Gyurkouics, opera singer and outstanding coloratura soprano (buried under a memorial statue by Miklós Borsos); Eva Ruttkai, the cel­ebrated actress of the Vígszínház remembered with admi­ration by several generations of theatre goers; Hanna Hon- thy, world famous operetta prima donna (buried under a monument by Imre Varga); Erzsébet Házy, opera singer; Margit Kovács, ceramic artist. As for men, here lie some of the most distinguished figures of Hungary’s music life, including Sándor Svéd, opera singer; János Ferencsik, conductor (under a monument by Miklós Borsos); Kálmán Nádasdy, former director of the Opera House; Lajos Bár­dos, conductor and composer; Szabolcs Fényes, com­poser; plus two dominant figures of Hungarian literature, the poet László Hagy and the writer and dramatist István Örkény. Of the unforgettable actors, here lie buried Antal Páger and László Kazal-, of the representatives of other arts, the following are interred in the section: László Ra- nódy, film director; Frigyes Pogány, art historian; and Far­kas Molnár, a pioneer of modern Hungarian architecture. In the neighbouring strip 25/b rests the popular singer and actor János Sárdy, buried in a grave facing the circular area. Near the fence of columbarium D in Section 26 there are the tombstones of those having lost their lives in air crashes. One part of the section contains urn graves and vaults containing urns, which were all built earlier. The next section, numbered 27, is similar in this respect.
