Monument of the Petőfi family 19); there is a fine portrait of painter János Jankó by Ede Kallós in Section 11; while on the right, in Section 10, stands a sculpture by Sándor Mikus portraying actor Gyu­la Csortos. The monument of the composer Pongrác Ka- csóh is ornamented with a relief by Richárd Füredi. At the corner of Section 10/2 rises the monumental sculpture of the hydro-engineer RáZ Vásárhelyi, the work of Jenő Grant- ner. Behind this are the graves of Szilárd Zielinszky, whose work left a deep influence on the architecture of the turn of the century, and of his professor Alajos Hauszmann; both tombs are ornamented with replicas of their respec­tive works. After these, are the graves of such outstanding public figures as Sándor Wekerle, minister of finance and later prime minister; Loránd Eötvös, physicist, president of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and government minister (his bust was sculpted by Alajos Stróbl); and one of the most important figures in the history of Budapest’s development István Bárczy, mayor and minister of justice. There is a sculptural composition featuring the muses of the fine arts by Géza Maróti over the grave of György Ráth, museum director and art collector. The granite obelisk in the middle of the section marks the resting place of the writer and journalist Kálmán Mikszáth.
