"My aspiration,” wrote Kuzsinsky, "was for the Capital City Museum to give a picture as comprehensive as possible of the city's past.” That, however, took a very long time to accomplish as the locating, acquisition, exhibition and documentation of objects of archaeological, historical, literary, artistic, urban, architectural, technological or administrative interests required painstaking work of organising and collecting.
