Horváth M. Ferenc: Vác, Magyarország kincsestára (Vác, 2016)

Construction of the two-story neo-classic Bishop's Palace (1768-1775), was commissioned by Kristóf Migazzi and built according to plans by Viennese architect Joseph Meissl. Bishop Frigyes M. Althann had a two story basement dug prior to construction. Spatial orientation of the Bishop's Palace is unusal, since its facade is facing the smaller Migazzi square and not the Dome or the Danube. The interior design of the palace was kept in its original form. Concerts are held in the auditorium on occasion. Various endangered plants can be found in its garden. While statues of Saint Sebastian and Saint Ladislaus are on exhibit in front of the Palace, the coat of arms of Bishop Kristóf Migazzi is displayed on the fence along the square.

Den zweistöckigen, barock-frühklassischen Bischofspalast nach den Plänen des Wiener Architekten Joseph Meissl lief Bischof Kristóf Migazzi zwischen 1768 und 1775 bauen. Vor dem Bau wurden noch von Bischof Mihály Frigyes Althann riesige Gruben für zweistöckige Kellerräume ausgehoben. Die topographische Lage des Bischofspalastes ist besonders, da die Hauptfassade weder in Richtung der Kathedrale noch in Richtung der Donau ausgerichtet ist, sondern in Richtung des kleinen Migazzi-Platzes. Die Innenausstattung des Palastes blieb unverändert. In seinem Prunksaal werden auch klassische Musikkonzerte aufgeführt. Im Garten befinden sich zahlreiche geschützte Pflanzen. Vor dem Palast stehen die Statuen der Heiligen Sebastian und Ladislaus, auf dem Zaun Richtung Konstantin-Platz sieht man das Wappen von Bischof Kristóf Migazzi.

Dvojpodlazny biskupsky palác v klasicistickom barokovom style, podl'a plánov viedenského architekta Josepha Meissla bol postaveny vobdobi 1768-1775, na objednávku Kristófa Migazziho. Pred zacatím stavebnych prác biskup M. Frigyes Althann dal vykopaf obrovskü jamu pre dvojpodlaznü pivnicu. Priestorovä dispozicia biskupského palóca je jedinecná, jeho hlavné priecelie nie je nasmerované smerom ku katedráié alebo Dunaju, ale na maié Migazziho nämestie, pred seba. Usporiadanie interiéru sa zachovalo v pövodnej podobe. Reprezentacné sály palóca slúzia na prílezitostné koncerty. V záhrade palóca mőzeme nájsí viac chránenych rastlín. Pred palácom stoja sochy Sv. Sebastiána a Sv. Lászlóa, erb biskupa Kristófa Migazzihoje umiestneny na plote zo strany Konstantínovho námestia.
