Az 1762-ben Migazzi püspök által szegény nemesi ifjak részére felállított kollégium 1767-ben beolvadt a Mária Terézia által alapított nemesi akadémiába, a Teréziánumba. Az új intézményt Kisvácon, a középkori Szentlélek-templom, ispotály és temető helyén építették fel 1777-ben. Az akadémia rövid idő múlva megszűnt, és az épületet több évtizeden át sokféle célra használták. The building of the penitentiary has an exceptionally diverse history as well. The dormitory built by Bishop Migazzi in 1762, for poor noble young men, became part of the so called Theresianum in 1767, which was an academy for nobles, founded by Maria Teresa. This new institute was built in Kisvác in 1777, at the site of the Helaing House, the cemetery and the Church to the Holy Spirit. The academy was soon dissolved and the building was used for various purposes for decades. Das Gebäude, wo sich heute das Zuchthaus befindet, hat eine abwechslungsreiche Vergangenheit. Bischof Migazzi ließ hier im Jahre 1762 ein Konvikt für verarmte Adlige bauen, deren Institution 1767 ins Theresianum eingegliedert wurde. Das neue Gebäude wurde im Jahre 1777 in Kisvác an der Stelle der mittelalterlichen Kirche des Heiligen Geistes, des Krankenhauses und Friedhofs erbaut. Das Theresianum schloss seine Tore bald darauf und das Gebäude wurde mehrere Jahrzehnte lang vielfältig genutzt. Budova väznice má vel'mi rozmanitú minulosf. Internát, ktory dal postavif biskup Migazzi v roku 1762 pre chudobnü síachtickú mládez, v roku 1767 sa zjednotil so slächtickou akadémiou Teresanium, zalozenou Máriou Teréziou. Novú institúciu vybudovali v roku 1777 na mieste stredovekého kostola Svátého ducha, nemocnice a cintorína v mestskej casti Kisvác. Akadémia po krátkom období zanikla, budovu desaírocia vyuzívali na rözne dele. Fegyház
