Tartalom

The fresco on the ceiling: All Saints bishops - including Bishops Forgách and Althann as well - used to be buried in the chapel. Their earthly remains were removed to the crypt of the new cathedral in the early 1800s. There was a cemetery around the chapel until the beginning of the last century, which had been opened in 1761 in order to replace the one closed down near the cathedral that was being built at the time. This cemetery ceased when a department store was built nearby; today there is only a cross next to the chapel as a reminder. The area between the Roch Chapel and the Lutheran Church was a barren plot until the early 1920s. This wide and empty land stretched southwards as far as the Red House. The famous fairs of Vác were held here four times a year. Later the area of the Fairground was parcelled out and developed into single-storey houses with gardens. Repentant St Peter the Apostle St John of Nepomuk St Mary Magdalene
