150 THE 19TH CENTURY - THE CENTURY OF GREAT CHANGES Révcsárda ("Ferry tavern"). In the first half of the century the well-known Boldizsár Brechler from Bavaria sells wine here. In the 1880s water sports races are regularly held, lit by Bengal light, that is why later the tavern is named Pokolcsárda (“Hell tavern").The tavern and its surroundings are popular destinations for excursions, as they are developed by the tenants: a terrace, a skittles pavilion, skittles grounds, tennis courts, football pitches are built, and gym equipment is provided.
