He expressed the great pleasure of the con­gregation in being able to welcome in her midst those friends whose religious zeal prompted them to lay so many precious offerings on the altars even of our Churches. To the welcome addresses answers were given by the Rev. Enfield Dowson in the name of the English Unitarians ; the Rev. Theodore Williams of New-York, spoke in the name of the American Unitarians ; the Rev. Lloyd Jones of Liverpool spoke in the name of the North Welsh Unitarian Association; Mr Frank Tayler embodied his reply in a poem written under the impression of the religious service just held; adress was given by dr. Cfreaves of Canterbury; Dr. Frank D. Chester of Boston, spoke in the name of the American young men; and Miss Lucia Tagart in the name of the English ladies. —- The highly enthusiastic adresses and speeches were received by the audience with ap­plause. The addresses and speeches are published at the end of this Report. They were translated and explained to the audience by Profs. John Kovács and George Boros, and the Rev. Nicholas Gál. Second day.
