Eternal God! fountainhead of the highest feelings of the human heart! Unto Thee do our souls rise in this solemn moment. Here we are before Thee with our sacrifice on the altar of our faith. In many ways do thy children wave the torch of light in the service of thy eternal purposes. In many ways do tey strive to know thy being. But with one mind do we all direct our gaze beyond the bounds of this imperfect earthly life to a higher and better world: and therefore one should be the love joining together all thy children in the consciousness of our common brotherhood.

This day is a festival of thy spirit. As one energy runs through the infinitly varied appearances of nature — so thou alone art the only source of our moral and spiritual being One and indivisible Eternal God. From different parts of the world, from different spheres of spiritual life, have we come together to join in thy common worship. Our thoughts strive to realize
