12 The Hungarian Student Meet the New (Names are omitted to protec the president : Twenty-eight-yearold architect. Before getting his diploma he was ousted from the university, accused of being an enemy of the Soviet Union, and a disciple of the Western way of life. After five years he received permission to complete his education. At present he is working for his Master of Architecture degree. the vice-president: Mechanical engineering student, 21 years of age. Not long before the Congress he gained admittance to Stevens Institute, Hoboken, New Jersey. He was a leader of the Temporary Organizing Committee. His personality gained many friends for the Hungarian students. Credit for organizing the Congress belongs to him. the press secretary : The only female in the leadership. She is a 23- year-old student of medicine. We hope she can continue her studies in the fall semester. She speaks various languages and will communicate with members and friends, as editor of The Hungarian Student. T
