A journey to India is a great experience even for those who have visited that vast land before or arrive there from the East. However, when I reached Calcutta a week ago it was not that exotic, highly diversified empire that interested me, but the fraternal solicitude I felt for our comrades in misfortune, the Tibetans who had sought refuge in India.
