We were told to be back promptly in two hours so that we could continue to lunch. Thus, after our time was up, our bus took us down Castle Hill to Nemetvolgy-German Valley and in about five minutes we started to ascend another hill; this was Széchényi Hill and to the Voros Csillag-Red Star Hotel. It has the appearance of an old hunting lodge. This is where we had a first class lunch, starting off with a spicy gulyás soup with miniature dumplings, an excellent breaded fish that was very moist and served with small boiled potatoes. Main course was a tasty slice of pork loin that had been perfectly tenderized and then fried. It was served with white rice and lecsó. Desert was a slice of Dobos Torta. After lunch we were taken to another hill—Gellert Hill, to the Citadella where we had a choice of two views of the city, along with several individually owned shops of souveniers and folk-art items.
